Welcome to the Library Marketing Toolkit website!

This is the website to accompany the book of the same name - but it's also a standalone resource to help you market your library. It contains all sorts of stuff, and I'll be adding to all the time.

This page will turn into a blog, highlighting best practice in the world of marketing, exploring new ideas, and featuring guest case studies from around the world. Already lined up are contributions from The Bodleian, The UnLibrary, JISC, Andy Burkhardt and more, plus additional case study material which literally wouldn't fit into the book itself.

The rest of the site is still being finished off, but if you want to learn more about the book itself then the pages on The Book, The Author and (most excitingly) The Contributors are all sorted; expect updates on the Essential Tools and New Case Studies pages shortly. You can also download a chapter of the book for free, here (PDF).

There is also a related Twitter account, @LibMarketing, if you'd like to follow that, and you can subscribe to this blog here. It'll be worth your while!

In the meantime, if you've seen any examples of particularly outstanding (or even particularly terrible) library marketing online, or non-library marketing which you think we can learn from, let me know in a comment below...
